Re: A Vent About Tips

Waiting tables is hard work. I don't think ppl realize how demanding it is. Please tip your server well, & if you can't afford to tip them well, eat at home or at a fast food restaurant out of respect. Their tips are their primary income...not their hourly wage. Most servers have an hourly wage of around 2 dollars, minus taxes! On top of that, many waiters have to tip out the bartender & a bus boy...off of the tips that you give them. Please be considerate & thoughtful.

"Governor Palin is chair of the Interstate Oil and Gas Compact Commission, a multi-state government agency that promotes the conservation and efficient recovery of domestic oil and natural gas resources while protecting health, safety and the environment. Prior to being named to this position, she served as co-chair of this committee.
